This VIRAL Bagel Brand is coming to Tampa Bay

PopUp Bagels is coming to Tampa in 2025

PopUp Bagels, the VIRAL bagel brand that’s been taking over social feeds, is finally bringing their magic to Florida! Tampa gets first dibs (YAY!) on what’s about to become your new obsession.

Since launching in Connecticut in 2021, PopUp Bagels has grown from a charming backyard window operation (Go Adam!) into the bagel destination that had New Yorkers waiting hours on a line down the block.

Last time I was in NYC, I went to the Pop Up Bagels location on Thompson Street. It’s right next to the viral Carbone as well so I guess they knew what they were doing!

Think hot, whole bagels that are practically begging for your camera, weekly rotating schmear flavors that keep things fresh, and collaborations with brands I already love. Earlier this year, the popped into Tampa and collaborated with Greenlane and I was invited to try it. I was so upset that I got there so late and GUESS WHAT?! I got to meet Tampa superstar athlete Gronk as he is a brand partner with Greenlane. Talk about a Tampa welcoming.

I actually was able to chat with the founder and he was so excited to have everyone try his bagels. He gave me one that was fresh from the oven and it was the perfect bite! See the PopUp Bagel event on my instagram.

This Connecticut-based brand has built a cult-like following (me included) in the Northeast with its no-frills but high-quality bagel drops that sell out. I am obsessed with its motto “Not Famous but Known,” because they are both famous and known now and I’m so excited that they are coming to the Westshore neightborhood of Tampa Bay.

PopUp Bagels isn’t your traditional deli-style shop. You don’t go for a bacon, egg and cheese. You go for a dozen freshly-made warm, perfectly blistered bagels, an assortment of whipped schmears and butter.

“We’re absolutely thrilled to launch in Tampa,” said PopUp Bagels Founder Adam Goldberg.” Tampa has always been one of my favorite cities, and this is going to be incredible for everyone who lives here and appreciates truly exceptional bagels.”

This Florida expansion is huge news for anyone who’s been craving that perfect bagel moment and I am SO excited for Tampa and our taste buds. With over 30 new locations planned, we will finally have access to those freshly baked, straight-from-the-oven bagels that have redefined breakfast (and let’s be honest, lunch and dinner too) across the Northeast. Whether you’re grabbing a quick bite, planning ahead with advance orders, or organizing catering for your next gathering, they’ve got you covered.

“After connecting with Adam and the entire PopUp team, we’re so excited to partner with them in bringing this to Florida,” said Kal Gullapalli.” Florida deserves amazing bagels, and PopUp truly has the best product out there. We’re planning Tampa and Orlando locations throughout 2025.”

If you’re still not sold on them, here’s what makes PopUp Bagels so special: it’s all about the experience. Every single bagel comes to you hot, whole, and absolutely perfect straight from the oven. No pre-slicing, no complicated sandwiches – just pure, simple perfection. Whether you’re the type to grip, rip, and dip while you’re out and about, or you prefer to take them home to create your own bagel masterpiece, PopUp celebrates that beautiful simplicity we all crave.

For those who live outside of Tampa Bay, PopUp is also opening locations in Delray Beach, Miami, and West Palm Beach.

POPUP BAGELS

PopUp Bagels is on a mission that speaks to anyone who appreciates the perfect bite: crafting absolutely flawless bagels with beautiful simplicity. Think crispy, golden crusts that give way to soft, pillowy centers, with just the right amount of seeds for that perfect crunch.

But here’s where it gets really exciting – their schmears. PopUp partners with incredible brands, talented chefs, and creative tastemakers to develop cream cheese flavors that are anything but ordinary. Bold, unexpected, and always Instagram-ready.
